Founded in 1990 as Hotel Shivas Dream by two brothers Mohan Aryal and Arjun Aryal who could foresee the latent potential of the tourism booming in Chitwan at the time; Hotel Shivas Dream today is a name to reckon with in the hospitality business. Mr.Arjun Aryal realized the latent potential of this market segment long before anyone else could when there were but a hand full of Hotels. As Chitwan National Park was enlisted in the world heritage site, the hotel has uniquely positioned to take advantage of the upsurge in demand.

The motto for the staff members working in Shiva's Dream is to make the guest feel that they belong in the culture and atmosphere. The staffs are helpful, smiling and energetic and are likely to answer all your queries related to wildlife and tharu culture.

Sauraha, Chitwan where the Hotel is located is a typical tharu(ethnic group) village. You will see people in their traditional dresses on occasions. The surrounding of hotel area is however a strict hotel surrounding with all the facilities you would want for your self like restaurants nearby and places to go to enjoy your evening. Also at night the surrounding goes quite and give you a sense of being in the wild with all the bird chirping and animals roars.
