Tharlam Monastery is home to 150 monks, 100 of whom are students below the equivalent of grade 9. The remaining 50 senior monks are responsible for managing the monastery, conducting daily rituals and pujas, overseeing the monastic school, and running the guest house. The guest house has become an essential part of our funding model, allowing us to sustain our educational programs while offering a peaceful, welcoming environment to our guests.

Tharlam Guest House offers guests an immersive spiritual experience. Visitors may observe daily prayers, rituals, and the everyday life of the monks. Tharlam Guest House is owned and operated by the monastery and managed by the monks themselves. As a non-profit initiative, your stay supports go toward sustaining the monastery, as well as monks and their spiritual path. Every stay with us becomes a meaningful journey, where your presence aligns with compassion and purpose.
