This two story home is perfectly suited for families. There is a sloping backyard which is ideal for kids and pets to play in as it is fully fenced and even has a tire swing while the adults relax on the spacious deck for a classic kiwi summer BBQ. This home sleeps up to 8 guests split between the two stories with a double bed downstairs and a queen plus 4 singles upstairs making plenty of room for two families to come and enjoy this lovely home. There is also a cot in one of the upstairs bedroom along with a portacot and high chair available in the home. There is plenty of entertainment indoors as well with complimentary Wi-Fi, Radio, and a media player and Chromecast connection on the TV accommpanied by a log fire for those brisk winter days and a Heatpump to keep you warm in winter and cool on summer. Pets are welcome to stay, but preferably outside. This home is just moments away from the nature walks and cycle trails of our beautiful heritage forest and just a short 5 minute walks to the local thermal pools and resturants. Please Note: This home includes a gas bottle for the BBQ so there is no need to bring your own or hire one, there is also a mountain buggy pram along with a bike and scooters available to use during your stay located downstairs underneath the house.

Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
