Escape to Free Fall hut, a fully equipped rustic, romantic cabin located on a sunny berry farm in Te Awanga. This is the ideal place to unwind, with an outdoor tub to soak in, and prominent vineyards and beaches only a short bike ride away. The Space: A rustic timber and macrocarpa cabin with large French-doors and a comfortable queen-sized bed. Outdoor shower and bath (glamping style): Relax under the stars in the outdoor bath. Or enjoy the sheltered shower with the shutter doors open to rural views. Towels and basic hygiene amenities are provided. Patio and BBQ: Pizza plate for Webber BBQ. BBQ is available for outdoor cooking. Light the grill and invite your friends over to enjoy the outdoor space or simply enjoy it on your own. The patio can comfortably entertain additional guests with a large table and chairs. Kitchen: The kitchen has a small seating area for two, a toaster, a kettle, a microwave, a fridge, a small sink, and an electric cooking element. Enjoy breakfast with rural views. The shower, toilet, and kitchen are separate buildings located 10 meters from the main sleeping cabin based around the courtyard. Basic provisions: Plunger coffee, tea, and milk are provided. With a local store down the road, a coffee cart selling artisan pastries, and a plethora of local wineries at your fingertips serving brunch, lunch, and dinner, you can choose to explore the area for your kai or make something at home. We are less than a kilometer from the sea with access by walking and bike trails. Guest access: The cabin is completely separate from our home and orchard store. This cabin is a 15-minute walk from Te Awanga Beach and, for surfing enthusiasts, a 5-minute drive from the famous Te Awanga Break. We are close to many top-grade wineries and restaurants such as Elephant Hill, Clearview, and Te Awanga Estate which are all within walking or biking distance. Craggy Range is a 15-minute scenic drive away. World famous Cape Kidnappers golf course is a 15-min drive away. The Gannet Colony is 14 km away and serviced by local tours. Ocean and Waimarama Beach golden swimming and surf beaches are around 30 minutes away by car. There are 3 local coffee spots and a cafe by the sea for brunch lunch and weekend concerts in the summer All close by and in biking distance. Great fish and chips at the Cape view takeway 5 minutes away and a local pub called Marions. Further afield we have Napier with its art deco architecture. A 15 min drive on the coast. Hawkes Bay has so much to offer and we live in the middle of it all.
