Nestled in half an acre of garden, Gumnut House will delight and charm you. You can sit outside and watch the Tui and wood pigeon playing in the Gumnut tree. One minute walk will get you to the Riverbank which you can walk along to get to the main street in about 10 minutes. We only do one booking at a time so you won't have to share the space. The lounge/dining area is large, comfortable and overlooks our peaceful garden. The bathroom is separate, private and for the exclusive use of guests only.
Your hosts are Barry and Maryann. We are kiwis and love meeting new people. We like muscle cars, music, friends and getting together with our family. We are famous for our Hospitality,and like guests to relax and enjoy their time with us.
We are across the road from the iconic Kowhai park, and a short walk, bike or run to town, along the picturesque riverbank. We are in a safe, friendly neighbourhood, and everything is close to get to.
