Relax into the hammocks in this peaceful rural setting with abundant birds and butterflies. Casa India Dormida contains 2 rental cottages, a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom.
Enjoy a view of the India Dormida mountain and nearby Hiking trail. Also the picturesque Iguana mountain. Stroll through the authentic Panamanian residential neighborhood to the Daily Farmers Market in town (about a 20 minute walk) where there is a variety of fresh fruit/vegetables, local crafts and nearby shops/restaurants.
The 1 Bedroom Cottage: Modern one Bedroom cottage for up to 2 guests with Queen bed, clean bathroom with shower (hot water), private indoor/outdoor kitchen with fridge, stove and oven, all the dishes, cookware, utensils, dining set, high-speed internet. Cable TV. Your own charcoal BBQ grill and private garden with seating area too.
The 2 Bedroom Cottage: Modern, private two bedroom cottage for up to 4 guests, with queen bed in one bedroom, and 2 twin beds (singles) in the other bedroom. Clean bathroom with shower, kitchen with fridge, stove and microwave oven, all the dishes, cookware and utensils. Cable TV. Dining on your veranda, high-speed Internet. Your own charcoal BBQ grill too.
NEIGHBORHOOD:
This is the authentic part of El Valle, with a lot of Nature. It's a rural Panamanian Neighborhood in close proximity (walking distance) to the main town. The best of both worlds!
I love meeting people from all over the world and welcoming them to El Valle, a very special mountain village. Communication is my speciality and I enjoy keeping things clean and organized. I moved to El Valle from Maui island in Hawaii (US). There is lots of aloha here!
Casa India Dormida is in the immediate vicinity of the famous India Dormida hiking trail. Also nearby is the popular hiking trail to Piedra Pintadas, the painted rock. El Valle village (shops, restaurants) and the daily Farmers Market is a short walk (about 1 mile) with fresh fruits and vegetables and plenty of local arts and crafts. Taxis and buses are easily accessible and our little neighborhood mini-mart, a 1 minute walk, has all of your daily needs.
