Casa Lajagua is our 1.2 acre family-operated bed & breakfast, located at the entrance of Pedasi, on Panama’s Pacific coast. We provide a picturesque and relaxing atmosphere and excellent accommodation for you and your family. Set in beautiful grounds, we feature a designer swimming pool, relaxing lounge area and spacious, comfortable rooms. All of our rooms are equipped with A/C, hot water and pressurized “tropical rain” shower heads. Our beds are all very cozy and depending on the room have either a king or queen orthopedic mattress. Each room has a porch out front with hammock and chairs to relax in. Casa Lajagua will also provide you with excursions of your choice with options including a day at Isla Iguana, horseback riding, whale watching and fishing excursions. The fishing trips which are popular in this area can be offered on our large fishing boat (a fully equipped Contender) or with a local fishing captain in his panga, the traditional fishing boat of the area. We are here all the time to make your holiday everything you have expected.

Hola, our names are Craig and April Lewis and in the past we have called B.C. Canada home. In 2007 we decided to free ourselves from the corporate world and enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle. We traded our leather shoes for flip flops and began traveling and working for several years managing dive/watersport and resort operations. We first visited Panama in 2010 while employed as dive and watersport instructors on a luxury cruise ship. We had a great feeling about the country and returned several times. Jumping ahead to 2013, we were running a dive/resort operation for a lodge in Fiji when we spotted the opportunity for Casa Lajagua online. As they say, the rest is history, and in early November 2013 we became the proud new owners of Casa Lajagua. We are delighted to welcome you to our own very unique hotel, where you come as guests and leave as friends. We have 5 incredible pets that live here at Casa Lajagua, 3 dogs and 2 cats. They are part of our family and are excited for you to meet them too.

We are the first hotel as you enter Pedasi. We are close enough to walk to all the great restaurants but far enough away to enjoy a super peaceful sleep. We are the closest hotel to Playa Arenal in the town.
