I am Ludwig (owner of the hostel). I am a trekking guide for Colca Canyon since many years and I opened Pachamama in 2007 in order to provide free trekking information in Colca Canyon. My family also lives at the hostel and i am glad to share my place with all people from all the world. I enjoy to organize some activities for my guests such as Biking, private visit to Mucurca Lagoon and trekking in Cabanaconde. My hobby is taking picture of the area and you can appreciate most of my photos in the hotel - restaurant.

PachamamaHome is the right hostel for Hikers in Colca Canyon. As trekking guide in Colca Canyon you will get the best info if you are planing to trek on your own. If you stay at our hostel you get our Trekking Map. Our Hostel is a new building, the most comfortabe beds with duvet, hot water always, good Wifi connection, the best breakfast with real coffee, nice terrace to see the mountains, free luggage store and the best pizzas made in our wood-fired oven. Neighborhood info

Cabanaconde is the perfect place to acclimatize before hiking into Colca Canyon. The village of Cabanaconde is so authentic and life is so peaceful with nice people. View of Colca Canyon is amazing and Cruz del Condor is only 10 minutes by bus from Cabanaconde.
