Welcome to our home, a small family business bringing together three generations of women 🌺 My Island Home is a family property that has been thoughtfully reimagined to welcome travelers while preserving the simple, warm and authentic spirit of a true family home. In Huahine, Vaihere will welcome you and help make your stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible with genuine Polynesian hospitality. Living on site, she will help you quickly feel at home and remains available if needed during your stay. With a little luck, you may also catch a glimpse of my grandmother, always discreet but still very much part of the story of our family and this property. Online, it is me — Heimana — who will assist you before and during your trip to help you organize the best possible stay in French Polynesia. Our family also welcomes travelers in Tahiti, at our My Mountain Home properties in Afaahiti, where my mother Wendy and my sister Tehau also help care for our guests with the same family spirit and authenticity.

Spacious property for up to 10 guests combining two unique independent homes: Le Studio (4 guests) and La Galerie (6 guests), with a large shared terrace and pool. Located in a private, secure garden, just 10 minutes by bicycle from Fare, beaches and main attractions. 🚲 A few complimentary bikes are available on site. 🚤✈️ Transfers from the ferry dock or airport are included and automatically arranged once we receive your arrival details. 🚗 Rental cars are also available to explore the island easily. 🤝 A dedicated on-site host is physically present on the property to welcome and assist you during your stay, while we also remain available online anytime if needed. 🥖 Enjoy a relaxed island stay with thoughtful touches, including fresh bread delivery each morning.

Neighborhood info

My Island Home is located in a local neighborhood of Huahine, between Fare, the airport road and the historic village of Maeva. Staying here offers an authentic experience of the island, close to everyday Polynesian life. 🏝️ Fare, the island’s main village, is about 10 minutes away by bicycle. There you will find supermarkets, restaurants, snack bars, gas stations and several public beaches. ✈️ Toward the airport road, about 5 minutes away by car, the scenery becomes more rural and it is not unusual to see horses or cows roaming freely. Along this road, you can also visit the private shell museum Motu Trésor 🐚 or discover local vanilla at Boutique LM Huahine 🌿. 🌺 Maeva, around 25 minutes away by bicycle, is one of Huahine’s most important cultural and historical areas, home to several marae, the Fare Pote’e museum and the Maison de la Vanille. 🚲 Most of these places can easily be reached using the complimentary bicycles available on the property.
