Cabang Campsite is a 50 Hectares Robinson Crusoe island camp on Cagnipa Island - Port Barton, Northern Palawan. It was built from the remains of a typhoon-wrecked home resort. Cabang is paradise for those who want to escape the noise of the modern world. A rare example of a private island that has not been over developed and commercialized , detracting away from the raw beauty of island life. We offer a unique experience THE REAL ISLAND LIFE. It’s what tourism should be — a real immersion into the life, culture, and community of the places that you visit. An incredible journey, the authentic island experience of a lifetime. Guests sleep in bamboo huts called Kubo Kubo huts that are equipped with a mattress, a pillow, mosquito netting, and lights and an overhead electric solar fan. Showers and toilets are shared by everyone and you have to bring your own towel. Meals are served by our local Islanders three times a day in the Cabang Kusina, family-style. You’ll know it’s time to eat because one of them will blow a shell horn to call everyone to gather, and you will come running because it’s some of the best island food you’ll ever eat. Catch-of-the-day, homegrown vegetables freshly harvested from our Farm in San Vicente or on the island itself. Cabang’s structures never stick out or look out of place on the island; they only serve to enhance its natural beauty. Everything is built sustainably, with an aesthetic that feels natural and random. Some people will lounge on the beach, some will snorkel, kayak, or paddleboard, some will play a game of beach volleyball some play chess by the bar some read books in the hammocks under the awnings of the Club House (one of the spaces on the island where people gather) or go Jungle Hiking to our Waterfalls or fishing. Jungle showers connected directly to our waterfalls (fresh and drinkable water) or literally falling a sleep with the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves. Guests become part of our Islanders Family.
