Located on a quiet private road, the beach is only a 3 minute walk away. The public market, People's Park, city hall, police station, fire station, and medical clinic are a 5 -10 minute walk. A variety of eateries, convenience stores, and other business establishments are also a 5-10 minute walk. We are centrally located in Brgy. Ili Norte, San Juan, La Union, to many tourist destinations. And of course, we are a 5 minute drive to places like Tavern by the Sea, Flotsam, and Kabsat. Of course there is the beach, surfing, other water sports and activities. This is our biggest attraction. When at the beach, always exercise safety and caution. The ocean is a very powerful force. Always respect the ocean and its power. Know your abilities in the water, know your limits. If you have doubts about your abilities, don't go out. The beaches here are mellow and calm for most people. But do remember, "this is the surfing capital of the north." During the surf season, the ocean and waves are the most powerful. Be safe, be cautious. Jellyfish are part of the local community, lol. They're not always here, but time to time they do let their presence be known. You may see jellyfish warnings at the beach. Be aware, again be safe and cautious. Jellyfish stings are painful. I have experienced this myself. Check the waters before you go in. If in doubt, don't go out. The beaches here are our greatest asset and resource. They provide all of us unlimited activities and enjoyment. Let's respect our oceans and beaches. Let's take care of Mama Earth.
