My name is Tess, born and raised in beautiful Batanes. This guesthouse was inspired by my late father, Picot, who was one of the hardworking farmers in Mahatao, Batanes. As a little girl, my late sister and I would often go to our nearby farm to water our vegetables. We grew many kinds of produce typical of a tropical place. I especially loved the peanuts and beans. Garlic was also one of our main crops. Those simple days on the farm are some of my most treasured memories. Although we are now based in Canada, this guesthouse will always be our HOME. It carries our roots, our memories, and our family’s love. We are truly proud to share it with you.
