Property info

Bukowica Miła is more than a holiday home. It was built by hand with a love for nature and a desire to create a place where life moves at a slower pace. Set high on the forested slopes of Mount Tokarnia in the heart of the Beskid Niski Mountains, it offers the kind of peace and privacy that is becoming increasingly rare. The house has over 100 square metres of living space and comfortably accommodates up to seven guests. Its distinctive round octagonal design with a central chimney creates a warm atmosphere unlike any typical holiday rental. Most of the interior has been finished with wood and natural materials, giving the house warmth, character and a genuine sense of place. It was built over many years with care and attention to detail, making it feel like a real home rather than a property designed purely for rental. The greatest luxury here is the space around you. Start your morning with coffee overlooking the rolling hills of the Beskid Niski, spend the day wandering through your private forest, and finish the evening around the fire or beneath one of the darkest starry skies in Poland. The property also features a natural pond fed by spring water flowing down the hillside. Throughout the seasons it becomes home to birds, butterflies and other wildlife that thrive in this peaceful setting. Guests have exclusive access to the entire house and more than three hectares of private land, including woodland, meadows and the area surrounding the pond. A unique eco-friendly sauna, built around the trunk of an old fir tree and inspired by Finnish sauna traditions, offers both dry and steam sauna experiences. Surrounded by natural wood, resin, and the scent of Carpathian herbs, it provides a truly relaxing experience close to nature. The sauna accommodates up to 4 guests and requires advance booking. Price: PLN 200 for a 2-hour session or PLN 400 for 24-hour access.

Neighborhood info

Bukowica Miła is located in one of the wildest and least populated parts of the Beskid Niski Mountains. This region is known for its vast forests, quiet hiking trails, traditional Lemko villages and an extraordinary sense of peace. The house sits on the slopes of Mount Tokarnia within the Natura 2000 protected area. Deer, foxes, roe deer and many bird species can often be seen nearby. At night, the exceptionally dark skies reveal thousands of stars that are rarely visible from towns and cities. The surrounding area offers beautiful hiking and cycling routes, historic wooden churches and countless opportunities to discover one of the most unspoiled corners of the Polish Carpathians. It is the perfect destination for travellers seeking nature, space and tranquillity rather than crowds and busy tourist attractions.
