Domek Pod Jemiołami is located right by the lake, in a picturesque village with the charming name Mały Głęboczek ('Mały' means 'little') — and it doesn’t lie: it really is a tiny place :) Still, it has plenty to offer: the lake, the forest, a nearby horse stable, and easy access to many local attractions. The cottage name came to us when our first Guests pointed out the beauty of the mistletoe growing on the surrounding trees. We laughed that no matter what we did, the mistletoe would stay with us anyway — so we symbolically added it to the name as a signature of our cottage. ABOUT THE COTTAGE We created this cottage with lots of love and our own hard work. Guests especially enjoy the beautiful view through the huge panoramic window. GROUND FLOOR The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, an induction cooktop, a large fridge, and all the necessary dishes. The bathroom is spacious and includes a towel radiator, toilet, sink, shower, and washing machine. The table is wooden (you can see our love for wood right away :) ) — I chose it with Guests’ comfort in mind, which is why it’s large and round. There is also a pull-out sofa on the ground floor that sleeps 2 people. UPSTAIRS Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a utility/storage closet. The smaller bedroom has two single beds and a breathtaking view of the lake. The second bedroom is larger, with a double bed, and the window overlooks the forest garden on the cottage grounds. HEATING We have 2 air-conditioning units with a heating function, so the temperature upstairs and downstairs can be controlled separately with remote controls. On the ground floor there is also a wood-burning fireplace — an irreplaceable companion on chilly evenings. In the forest garden you will find a fire bowl and sticks for roasting sausages. The grounds are currently unfenced, but as soon as the frost is gone, the cottage will get a brand-new fence :) Welcome to our little place on Earth.

Domek Pod Jemiołami is located right on Lake Sopień. The large window overlooks the forest and the lake, allowing our Guests to feel like part of the surrounding nature. You can (and should!) walk all the way around Lake Sopień. It’s a pleasant stroll, as the lake is relatively small and the full loop takes about 45 minutes. Just a 15-minute drive from our cottage, in nearby Kurzętnik, you’ll find Kurza Góra — the largest ski slope in northern Poland (ski slope, ice rink, toboggan run, equipment rental, and ski lessons), offering unforgettable winter experiences. In Głęboczek there is also a horse stable — Stajnia Głęboczek — where you can try horseback riding. The stable is a 5-minute drive from the cottage. Domek Pod Jemiołami is located in the Brzozie Municipality (Gmina Brzozie). In Brzozie (about 15 minutes from the cottage) there is a children’s playground shaped like a pirate ship, as well as a skatepark and a scenic walking path around the pond. The nearest town is Brodnica (about a 25-minute drive from the cottage), which offers the ruins of a Teutonic castle with a preserved tower, as well as a nearby park with a graduation tower and a playground.
