Your holiday starts as you leave the asphalt behind and drive 4km along a sandy road into the Tuchola Forest to find our home located in the small village of Smolniki. The accommodation is our family owed and treasured 2 story home, three bedrooms, open concept lounge kitchen diner, shower room and separate toilet. We have just completed a house refurbishment to provide you a mix of modern comfort along side tradition. The master bedroom has a king size bed and access to the top balcony. Also on this floor is the second bedroom with 2 single beds and a day bed that can be converted into a single or double bed. Down the narrow stairs you will find the third bedroom with a double bed. Travel cot can also be provided free of charge. Master bedroom has the most magnificent view of the sun rise. The house has all the usual amenities you would expect including a full kitchen, Shower room and separate toilet but do note your in the forest, we do have a 4G Booster and Internet but these could be variable in signal strength so other forms of entertainment may need to be sought. Our house is set up for outside living with the various seating areas but our favourite is the hammock under the large wooden gazebo enjoying the view of the lake.

We welcome you to our forever home. We purchased this in 2010 and have spent many summer and winter days with our family enjoying the amazing calming environment Smolniki has to offer. We look forward to sharing this with you.

You will be surrounded by Nature Reserve Natura 2000 which is the largest coordinated network of protected areas in the world. Cockoos, Woodpeckers and Cranes will help you wake up in the morning. You can head off to pick blueberries or mushrooms depending on the season or just enjoy the fresh clean air and walks in the beautiful old forest. You may be able to spot red squirrels, deer, lizards, many species of birds including storks, owls and many more. Located less than 300 meters away is a well kept children’s play area and a further 400 meters you can be alongside the Wda river. The village of Smolniki is an old Kocievian settlement with few traditional houses still remaining. This is a tranquil holiday destination, with very little traffic. Nearest supermarket is in Skorcz 10km away, there is also a local shop 4 km away in Wda. If you wish to explore the local area then shopping centre can be found in beautiful market town of Starogard Gdanski 30km away.
