Important information before booking
Prociówka is a hundred-year-old house on a hill, with a direct view of the mountains. It has preserved its authentic highland character, while offering a partly renovated, functional standard of stay.
On the ground floor, there is a renovated living room with a kitchen and bathroom, a bedroom with two double beds, and the “white room” with two single beds. The white room is the oldest and most traditional highland part of the house: wooden, atmospheric, with creaking floorboards.
Upstairs, there are two rooms: one with an enclosed terrace and a direct mountain view, and a second highland-style bedroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped: stovetop, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, dishes, spices and basic food products. The house also has a tuned hundred-year-old piano, books in Polish and English, board games, and books and games for children.
There is a TV with streaming platforms, which we can disconnect or remove on request, so that nothing disturbs the quiet atmosphere of the house.
The house is surrounded by two gardens: a natural wildflower meadow and a practical garden area with outdoor seating and a gas barbecue. There is also a lower terrace with a hammock, a ping-pong table in a separate garden room, and a bicycle with a helmet.
In winter, the lower part of the house is heated permanently. The upstairs bedroom has an infrared heater and an oil radiator. The veranda is not heated. This is an old wooden house, so sounds may travel between rooms.
Prociówka is not a hotel or a modern apartment. It is a place for people who value peace, nature, simplicity and the atmosphere of an old house. Children and pets are welcome, with full responsibility for their safety resting with the Guests.
Minimum stay: 3 nights.
We live between Warsaw and Gdynia, but we go to the mountains as often as we can. Prociówka is our beloved family home, where we rest, slow down and spend our own holidays.
Kasia works in the field of culture, so the house is shaped not only by silence and nature, but also by books, music, art and the atmosphere of the place. The copper reliefs in the house were made by her grandfather.
We open Prociówka to guests who feel close to the same things we do: mountains, simplicity, nature and art, and who can treat a house with history with care and respect.
Ciche-Miętustwo is a picturesque mountain village located in Podhale. The house offers a view of the Tatra Mountains, and the area is well suited both for walks and for peaceful time in the garden with family or friends.
About a 5-minute walk from the house, there is a path leading to the Trail Around the Tatras. From there, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Polish and Slovak mountains, as well as the Orava region, including Babia Góra.
The house is located approximately 20 km from Zakopane, 4 km from Czarny Dunajec and 6 km from the Slovak border. There are shops, a local inn and basic amenities in the village.
