Stodoła Rybojady is a rare blend of soul and comfort: a 1934 designer barn reborn as a warm, light-filled retreat on a fenced 4,000 m² meadow at the forest’s edge, moments from the clear lakes of Pszczew Landscape Park. Original barrel ceilings, old trusses and brickwork give the house its character, while modern insulation, tactile finishes and thoughtful design make it effortlessly comfortable. Inside you’ll find three inviting bedrooms with desks, two stylish bathrooms (one with a freestanding tub), a spacious living room with picture windows and a deep sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, and a playful attic lounge with shuffleboard, darts and board games for long evenings together. Outside, slow mornings unfold on the terrace, afternoons mean deckchairs on the grass or a SUP on nearby lakes, and nights end by the firepit under truly dark, starry skies. Step straight from the gate into forest trails, birdsong and lake silence—an easy, welcoming place to relax, explore and feel at home.
I’ve always felt more at home among forests than in office corridors. I love quiet lakes, the scent of pine, and the kind of silence that truly restores. After years of searching, I found not just a house, but a space where you can breathe deeply and reconnect with nature. Stodoła Rybojady was created to offer exactly that—comfort blended with simplicity and the beauty of the outdoors. I’m not a hotelier; I’m someone who knows how much we all need an escape. Here, you’ll find yours.
The neighborhood around Stodoła Rybojady is a peaceful lake-and-forest pocket of western Poland, set within the protected Pszczew Landscape Park, known for its pristine ribbon lakes, sandy shores and quiet, uncrowded trails. From the house, short walks lead to lakes Lubikowskie, Wielkie, Szarcz and Chłop—ideal for swimming, SUP or sunset picnics—while the gentle Obra River offers beginner-friendly kayaking through shaded banks and meadows. Cycling and hiking routes range from easy lakeside loops to longer scenic rides toward Trzciel and Lubikowo. Pszczew town adds classic resort charm with piers, beaches and a beekeeping museum, and nearby Miedzichowo Eco-Fairs (May–Sept) showcase local cheeses, honey and slow-food specialties. The wider Lubuskie region surprises with Poland’s best-known wine area around Zielona Góra, where boutique vineyards, tastings and the September Winobranie festival make an excellent day trip. Despite the calm, the location is easy to reach: about 2 hours from Poznań and roughly 2.5–3 hours from Berlin by car, making it a natural escape for weekend or longer stays.
