On the ground floor of the house there is a kitchen, a bathroom (with a shower), a living room with a balcony (sofa bed), a bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with a sofa bed. The house is located on a large, arranged plot at the end of the village, surrounded by meadows and fields. The village has a church, a clinic and a playground. In Michałowice, 3 km away, we have both a private grocery store and Biedronka. It is an ideal location for families with children who have a place to run, as well as people who like to spend time actively (you can go cycling, walking, Nordic walking).

We are a married couple with four children. We are happy to provide our guests with advice and assistance. We lived in the UK for several years, so we are open to meeting people from other countries and cultures. We like traveling, cycling and canoeing. We are also interested in gardening and we like to cook and experiment in the kitchen. We speak Polish and English!

Szydłowice is an ideal location for people who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, who want contact with nature and who are looking for clean, fresh air. There are farms in the village where you can still buy milk straight from the cow, farm eggs or honey. It is also an ideal haven for people who want to visit their homeland, who no longer have apartments or family to stay in this area. Only 2 km from the house there is a large forest with the Ryczyn settlement from the 12th/13th century and the Odra River. About 1 km from the house, in the village of Myśliborzyce, we can come across the only dune in the Opole region, which is now covered with a forest and is an ideal place for a walk with children. At a distance of 5 km from the village, you will find the Sielska Woda recreation and leisure complex with fishing grounds and a swimming pool. In the village there is a stud farm and a horse riding school. Nearby, in Bystrzyca and Oława, you can also go kayaking on the Smortawa River. In the nearby town of Brzeg, you can go on a boat trip on the Oder in the summer. In winter, you can use the indoor swimming pool in Brzeg or Oława, visit the monuments of Brzeg, such as the castle, the church of Exaltation of the Holy Cross, church of Santa Claus or get acquainted with the offer of the Brzeskie Centrum Kultury, where there is a cinema. Brzeg has a rich gastronomic base, numerous cafes and restaurants. In the vicinity of Szydłowice there are numerous historical buildings, e.g. decorated with beautiful polychromes from the 15th century.
