The waterfront open plan 2-bedroom penthouse is surrounded by a 7’ 6” wide veranda, on 3 sides, giving spectacular views of the Atlantic East & West & mountains to the north. The all-round veranda means there is plenty room to walk round, sit, read & sunbathe, watch both sunrise and sunset. It affords the luxury of being able to see & hear the limpid waters of the Atlantic lap on the seashore. Bedroom 2 doubles as a TV room with double sofa bed. The penthouse is within walking distance & easy access to some of the nicest Lavada walks in Madeira and a short distance from 2 golf courses, Palheiro Golf & Santo da Serra. An ideal location for those who want a resort holiday away from the busy city of Funchal. Surrounded by hotels with indoor and outdoor swimming pools and full leisure centres. The restaurants listed, are independently operated at street level. Housekeeping included on a weekly basis. 2 x Elevator/Lift access Free Wi-Fi Satellite flat-screen TV Outdoor seating & sun loungers Two conservatories, one looking east over the Atlantic towards sunrise and the other facing west towards Funchal and sunset. Airport transfer is arranged by us with Fidelio, a local taxi.

Charity - After a 30+ years running a successful consultancy in card-based payments, I am now focused on working with the voluntary sector. I lead the art, culture and heritage thematic in the Northamptonshire VCSE Assembly, am leading a place based project in Wellingborough to improve the lives of families living on the Hemmingwell estate and am also dedicating my time to helping young people continue to develop their musicianship post formal education.

Caniço de Baixo is a modern resort with stylish villas, hotels & holiday homes. A costal tourist zone, with an excellent selection of restaurants, bars, mini-markets, car hire & tourist shop. There are sport & spa hotels, offering indoor, & outdoor swimming pool. Their facilities can be used for a small fee, outside guests are very welcome. The limpid waters in Caniço de Baixo and Reis Magos offer three excellent diving schools, an ideal location for those who want a resort holiday, away from the busy city of Funchal. It is also a good location to hike & walk the islands amazing 2,500 kilometres, Lavada system which meander round the mountains. The Reis Magos Prominade is within a 3 minute walk of the apartment. A flat delightful walk with 3 restaurants, one a the start and two at the far end.
