Casa da Esperança has an area of over 120m2. It has 2 floors. On the upper floor, there are 3 bedrooms, 2 with a large bed, and 1 with 1 bunk bed. There is also a bed couch and the possibility of using an extra bed. It has 2 fully equipped bathrooms, one of which is equipped with a hydromassage cabin, a towel dryer, and 2 hairdryers (one per bathroom). As heating, it has a closed fireplace and two electric heaters. It has a fully equipped kitchen, both with utensils and appliances (including a coffee machine). The exterior has a considerable area (30 m2) on a terrace, partially covered, where it is possible to have meals (namely, prepare grills using the electric or charcoal grill) or simply enjoy the landscape, do some reading, among others. Located in the heart of the mountain, Casa da Esperança has splendid views of the mountain and is on the route of several pedestrian paths that connect the various surrounding villages.
Located in the center of Lousã mountain, more specifically in the village of Chiqueiro, Casa da Esperança has a privileged location for the various walking routes that run through the Schist Villages, the closest being: Casal Novo and Talasnal. In the municipality of Lousã and in the neighboring municipalities there are several river beaches worthy of several medals and of your visit! In historical terms, in the municipality of Lousã, there are a number of landmarks, such as the Castle of Lousã and the Chapels of Nossa Senhora da Piedade. In addition to the various footpaths that wind through the mountain, there are also 3 relatively recent walkways: Cerro da Condosa Walkway, Ribeira das Quelhas Walkway and Lousã Walkway. In gastronomic terms, Lousã stands out for its various typical dishes. Some of the best-known restaurants in this county are: Burgo (Lousã), Casa Velha (Lousã), Villa Lousana (Lousã), Ti Lena (Aldeia do Talasnal) and Sabores da Aldeia (Aldeia do Candal).
