House in the heart of a small peaceful and central village at the foot of Portugal's highest mountain, Serra da Estrela, with a very pretty river beach and beautiful hikes to do around. WI-FI. Skiing possible in winter in Serra da Estrela. Arrivals are autonomous with a key box (code provided on the morning of the start of the stay) and are possible from 3pm. Departures are also made independently before 11am after storage and cleaning of the house. Public access by gate with small terrace and barbecue. Then the staircase allows access to the fully air-conditioned private accommodation. Entrance to the living room with sofa/bed, large flat-screen TV with Portuguese cable channels and French satellite channels. Large fitted and equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, microwave, 2 coffee makers (filter and Krups Dolce Gusto), kettle, toaster and all utensils (pots, glasses, plates, bowls, cups...). Dining room with extendible table and chairs for 6 people. Office corner for telework. The interior staircase provides access to the air-conditioned rooms and the shower room with toilet and hair dryer. Private Wifi. Sheets and towels provided. Parking possible with electric gate.

Place called: Castelo. 80m from the village square. Roadway with easy parking on the street and vehicle visible from all the windows of the dwelling. Amenities: everything can be done on foot, mini-market at 150m, post office at 80m, 4 restaurants (80m, 120m 170m and 300m). Daily bus routes from/to the cities of Belmonte, Guarda, Manteigas. Taxi in the village.
