Located by a river beach with privileged views over a tributary of the Mondego River, this is a true nature retreat — ideal for couples or families looking for a peaceful getaway with their furry friends. Enjoy outdoor activities, scenic walks, a private jacuzzi, and the possibility of accessing a private swimming pool upon prior booking and subject to availability. The house is an invitation to reconnect with nature — a serene refugee where time slows down and life’s essentials take the center stage.

Just a few minutes from the house lies Ponte Nova’s river beach, the perfect spot to relax by the water. For walking enthusiasts, the “Ponte Nova → Altos da Ponte Nova” trail offers gentle slopes and beautiful rural landscapes —ideal for a late-afternoon stroll. If you enjoy a touch of history, visit the main parish church and the Chapel of Saint Anthony, and admire the 16th-century houses with their Manueline-style windows — a genuine window into the past. To experience local authenticity, head to Penedo Massorro, an emblematic hill of the parish, or take part in the traditional blessing of the herds, if your stay coincides with the event (usually in early July during the festival of Santo António). Inside our house, you will find information on various programs that can be done independently: from trails and outdoor walks to visits to small factories and local craft workshops.
