Casa Sardoal is a centuries-old townhouse, right in the middle of Sardoal's main street. There's plenty of local eateries right on our street, and every town attraction is within a short walk - from the town hall to the concert hall! We understand 21st century living and offer free Wi-Fi and coffee, as well as complimentary seasonal fruit when it's available. We find our beds are quite comfy, with warm duvets - but if you need extra blankets, heaters, or fans, just ask! We make every effort to accommodate our guests' requests - however, due to the style and furnishing of the house, Casa Sardoal is not accessible to users with physical disabilities. For the same reason, and for their own safety, we do not allow children at Casa Sardoal. We look forward to receiving you soon!
Hi, I'm Oscar. Although I grew up in Portugal, I also discovered Sardoal by accident. I was immediately charmed by the town and decided to relocate here, starting Casa Sardoal due to a shortage of accommodation in the area. I'm making the most of my adopted hometown - you'll often find me going for country walks, singing in the local choir, acting in local plays, or playing the piano. I'm always up for a board game or three if you need someone to play with, and love to chat about almost any topic on Earth - as long as it's not sports, fashion or celebrities...
Perched on a hill near the exact centre of Portugal, Sardoal is a hidden gem of a town with historic attractions, loads of events, beautiful walks, lovely eateries and friendly people. Come and visit us - and discover what Portugal's like off the beaten track!
