I enjoy welcoming every guest with care and attention so they feel at home from the very first moment. I am passionate about nature and the tranquility of this beautiful mountain region. I love walking along the local trails, discovering hidden corners and sharing my favourite suggestions with guests so they can explore the river beaches, the traditional schist villages and the flavours of local gastronomy. One of the things I enjoy most is preparing a homemade breakfast for our guests. It is a simple moment, yet full of meaning, helping everyone start the day slowly, with great flavours and a special touch. Ceira Cottage is located in a region of outstanding natural beauty, in the heart of the mountains and surrounded by peaceful and authentic landscapes. Just 2 minutes by car away you will find the beautiful Cabreira River Beach, one of the area’s hidden gems, with traditional schist bridges, crystal-clear waters and a perfect setting to relax and enjoy nature. Only a few minutes away is also the charming village of Cepos, where during the summer you can enjoy the village swimming pool with magnificent views over the mountains, as well as a cosy restaurant where you can taste the local gastronomy. About 15 minutes away is the village of Góis, known for its beautiful river beaches, traditional restaurants and for being part of the famous Estrada Nacional 2 route, which crosses Portugal from north to south and attracts travellers from all over the world. The region is ideal for those who enjoy nature, hiking and tranquility. The mountain trails invite you to explore the landscape and the surrounding nature offers the chance to spot wildlife such as eagles, deer, squirrels or even wild boar.
