Situated on the side of a small village surrounded by small farms and big forests, in a little street hardly ever used by public or other residents in the village, this charming old stone house intrigue people to want to see more. A 10-15 minute drive takes you to the Cabril dam, situated close to the nearest town of Pedrogão Grande. For those not brave enough to swim the lake, there is a floating lido and the nautical club, which hires out canoes for exploring the lake as well as very inexpensive mooring for boats. Fishing is a national pastime on the lake, with competitions each year. Overlooking the lake is the Lago Verde restaurant, café and bar. Very popular for its stunning lake views and local menu. Historical Pedrogão Grande has two supermarkets, local shops, banks, cafés, bars and an out of town nightclub. A very helpful and informative Tourist Office is housed in a beautiful, restored stone building which also hosts regular art exhibitions. During the summer there is a full itinerary of festas, always very well attended, with a big open air concert and firework finale.

The direct neighborhood consist of small farms and forests you get the feeling that you are cut off from the rest of the world, however, a short drive of 1,3 km through the forest takes you to a popular restaurant on the N2. Castenheira de Pêra is 9 km away offering excellent facilities like: ROCAS BEACH: The Fluvial Beach of Rocas is leisure, activities and entertainment complex, located at a lake of almost 1 km long. The biggest artificial wave pool in Portugal, with all amenities one would expect. Then there is also the fluvial Beach of Poço Corga that provides the quietness and serenity we need to renew our strengths and delight our body and spirit. A 12 min drive (9 km) from Harmonia will take you to the Mosteiro River Beach, a beauty spot for bathing in the enclosed, natural pool, with café and toilet/shower facilities as well as a converted lagar (olive mill) restaurant with all the old press features. On Sunday there is a small local market at Villa Facaia, about 3km away. Local produce, plus arts/crafts, and flea market around the church. With a few café bars and restaurant.
