This project was born from an old elementary school that was restored to bring more life to the village. We are in the centre of Portugal, in the middle of the mountains, surrounded by pure nature. A quiet, peaceful and secluded location with plenty of privacy. The surroundings of the village are safe. Ideal for lovers of nature walks. Great for long-term stays. Less than 2 hours from Lisbon and Porto. It has a double bedroom ready to accommodate two people, up to a maximum of four, using the sofa bed in the living room. Each room has air conditioning and blackout curtains to regulate the ideal temperature and light intake. Complimentary bathrobe and slippers. Cot, high chair and baby bath on request and subject to availability. Cotton bed linen and towels available. The amenities are from the Portuguese brand Castelbel (soap, hand gel, conditioner, body cream, shampoo and shower gel). The bathroom has a shower with a high, hand-held shower head. The kitchen is equipped to prepare your meals and has a small coffee corner to prepare a wonderful coffee in the morning (Delta brand). Open-plan style for a cosy living and dining area. Wood-burning stove ideal for cold autumn and winter nights. We provide enough wood for the entire stay, but if necessary extra quantities at an additional charge. Each house has access to a small patio with a separate barbecue, outdoor dining table, parasol and a seating area. Charcoal is not provided. Our accommodation is prepared to receive guests in two independent semi-detached houses. Your pet or guide dog is welcome in our accommodation. We only charge a flat cleaning fee of 10 euros per night. Extra services available.

We have several extra services available to make your stay more comfortable: we provide breakfast, honesty bar, various books and board games; or if you want to barbecue, we can bring you a basket with the preparation (vegetarian option as well), homemade pizza; if you're planning a picnic, we can bring you a basket of snacks; we have a chef who can prepare you a gourmet meal in-house! If you're in the mood for a good wine and a snack, we can prepare that and deliver it to you. Full-day bike hire is available, as well as a relaxation treatment service, such as mindfulness practices accompanied by a therapist, or personalised training. Several points of interest to visit: - More than 10 marked trails for nature hikes, ranging from 6 to 14 kilometres in length, from the easiest to the most difficult (there is a trail for the bravest with 135 kilometres divided into stages); - A suggestive trail to hike next to the house (your pets will love it); Trails in the surrounding area with wooden walkways; - Several climbing points with great viewpoints; - Viewpoints to enjoy this landscape spread over a huge area (we are in the middle of the Naturtejo Geopark). A 5-minute drive from the house is the Corgas Geomorphological Viewpoint, where you can see the outline of the various mountains and breathe in the fresh air; there is also a Watchtower very close to us (with a paragliding runway) a 20-minute drive away and a viewpoint suspended by gravity 30 minutes away; - Several river beaches (on spring water lines) classified as gold quality: the nearest is a 15-minute drive away. One of the beaches has a small inflatable park for the little ones to enjoy; - Aldeias do Xisto (Schist Villages): the nearest one is 15-minute drive away, with a great restaurant; - Aerodrome for tandem or paramotor jumps: 20 minutes away by car; - Several restaurants with regional food and terraces for pets.
