Enjoy our beautiful cottage on a cork forest farm, with a pool and the opportunity for lovely walks and close to numerous places to explore. The cottage is 2 km from the main road on good gravel track, plus additional 400m on dirt track. Fine for normal car, but car should not be too low. Lovely views. Ideal for walking, birdwatching or exploring local castle towns.
We are an Anglo-Portuguese family. I am a research scientist. We offer guests full privacy but will be on hand to help and advise on the local region.
Check out the many potteries in Redondo for souvenirs. We recommend visiting the traditional pottery factory in front of the Repsol gas station where you can ask to have a go at the potters wheel. The farmer’s market in Estremoz on Saturday morning is a must. There is a well-stocked Intermarché in Redondo and several large supermarkets in Estremoz.
