Unit formed by bedroom and bathroom, when no other spaces are required. Countertop access with the necessary cooking utensils for breakfast preparation. The house, consisting of two separate buildings, is in an inviting place to explore the natural environment, history and gastronomy of the region. The large swimming-pool is available to guests of both houses: T1 and T3.
The village of Beirã is ideally located to explore Marvão (10 km) and Castelo de Vide (12 km), which are known for their medieval castles and picturesque architecture. Traces of the Jewish heritage can also be found in the region (Castelo de Vide and Valência de Alcântara). The ruins of the ancient Roman city of Ammaia are 13 km away (São Salvador da Aramenha). There are also many traces of the Celtic heritage (dolmins, menhirs). One can also enjoy sports and recreation: Castelo de Vide and Portagem (12 km) have open-air swimming-pools, Beirã is an ideal location to embark on hiking and biking excursions, or discovering the natural surroundings of the Natural Park of S. Mamede. There are many local festivals, such as the Chestnut Festival in the Castelo de Marvão (a weekend-long event that takes place in November) and Al Mossassa – the Islamic Festival of Marvão (October).
