Hi there! We are edwin and linda and we love to host you at our beautiful quinta. We live here with our dog and 3 cats. Sinds december 2025 we can call this place ours and we are hoping to share the feeling with lots of guests

Quinta Cabecinha is a beautiful place in Penela, Coimbra (central Portugal). At the Quinta we have 4 buildings, two of which are fully equipped cottages, a suite in the main house and a room in the main house. There is a gym, where various sports equipment make it possible to keep in shape. Or would you like to relax by the pool or book a massage with one of us? You will surely enjoy it. Quinta Cabecinha is located in the middle of nature but also very centrally so everything is easily accessible.

Neighborhood info

The town of Penela is 5 minutes away and is a beautiful authentic place. Penela is proud of its castle which can be visited, definitely worth a visit. The area has beautiful nature and many archaeological treasures. There are beautiful walks to make and discover the natural beauty of the Serra da Lousa, of the Loucania area with the beautiful waterfall or the caves "do soprador do carvalho". This area is also popular with mountain biking enthusiasts. The university city of Coimbra can be reached in 20 minutes where this university can be visited. Tomar with the special "convento de Christo" is also close by. Quinta Cabecinha is located in the middle of nature but also very centrally so everything is easily accessible. Whether you want to take a nice walk, get a lot of culture, want a beach day or want to experience small-scale and authentic Portugal, it's all possible.
