Quinta da Saimeira is a 12ha estate between Castelo de Vide and Marvao, home to a large variety of birds, fruit trees and an olive grove. Surrounded by pittoresque granite boulders the property overlooks the Vale do Rodao and has direct access to the medieval foot path connecting the two towns.
Both artists, Oriane and Antonio moved to Quinta da Saimeira in November 2021 just a couple of months before the birth of Alba their first child. Oriane has a background in hospitality business but has been focusing on ceramics and painting in the past years. Antonio, trained as a fine arts painter but currently works with voice and theatre. Alba keeps her parents busy and happy as she recently began to smile :)
The valley is quite scarcely populated, our road is shared with only two inhabited properties. One of our neighbors occasionally brings around his sheep to mow the lawn.
