Situated in the picturesque village of Monte, surrounded by extensive mature gardens, this historic manor house hotel offers elegant rooms with a balcony. Facilities include an indoor pool, a fitness room, and a hot tub. The rooms at Quinta do Monte Panoramic Gardens feature views of the gardens, the sea, or the city of Funchal. All have a minibar, cable TV, and a bathroom with a hairdryer. As well as panoramic views, Restaurant Monte Garden also offers an à la carte menu with a large selection of Madeiran, Portuguese and international dishes. The typical Madeiran kiosk serves light meals in a relaxed atmosphere. Guests can play a relaxing game of billiards in Quinta do Monte’s game room. The 24-hour reception can help arrange rental cars. Located in Quinta do Monte’s garden lies the original Chapel of the Quinta do Monte, which has been restored.
