Two remodeled and fully equipped country houses at the entrance of Beirã. The main house (180m2) has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. The small house (60m2) has a bedroom, a bathroom and a combined kitchen/living room area. Both houses have terraces where one can enjoy outside dining. There are also a cafe and a restaurant in the village. They are at an ideal location to embark on hiking and biking excursions. The village of Beirã is a good place to become acquainted with the region of Marvão and Castelo de Vide. This region is regarded for its cultural and historical wealth, not to mention its culinary traditions.
The village of Beirã is ideally located to explore Marvão (10 km) and Castelo de Vide (13 km), which are known for their medieval castles and picturesque architecture. Traces of the Jewish heritage can also be found in the region (Castelo de Vide and Valência de Alcântara). The ruins of the ancient Roman city of Ammaia are 13 km away (São Salvador da Aramenha). There are also many traces of the Celtic heritage (dolmins, menhirs). One can also enjoy sports and recreation: Castelo de Vide and Portagem (12 km) have open-air swimming-pools, Beirã is an ideal location to embark on hiking and biking excursions, or discovering the natural surroundings of the Natural Park of S. Mamede. There are many local festivals, such as the Chestnut Festival in the Castelo de Marvão (a weekend-long event that takes place in November) and Al Mossassa – the Islamic Festival of Marvão (October).
