Mitch and Vicki have had the dream of running a fine B&B for more than 15 years. We have lived in Europe, Africa, Thailand - and have traveled the world, always picking up tips on what to do to make a perfect stay (and Vicki also picked up "shopping" which is now on display throughout. We always knew that we wanted to run a B&B, the trick was to find a beautiful place - and then to work to get the most wonderful rooms fully equipped for guests to enjoy. We have managed that! Now - we are here to help you have a fine time. Give us a yell (either before you come or when you are here) if you want any help with planning your trip.

Property info

We found this lovely place at the top of Evoramonte right next door to the Castle. We have spent two years getting it ship-shape - and now we think it is ready to welcome you here. The views are fantastic - every morning, every evening brings a different sunrise or sunset. And EVERY room has access to balconies with breathtaking views. There is double glazing and airconditioning throughout, and we have managed to keep many of the original features. All the bathrooms have been made out of local marble which a local craftsman has machined to fit. It is a wonderful place to spend two or three days while you explore everything on offer in the surrounding area.

Neighborhood info

Evoramonte is at the top of the hill, actually inside the castle walls and right next to the castle. The views from up here are breathtaking... you'll see. And this is the perfect spot from which to explore all the wonderful attractions in the area - just 30 minutes drive from Evora. We have a massive damn to the east, a pottery village (more than 20 different potters at work), a carpet town where mostly they make carpets, historic towns, several castles, great food - well, the list goes on and on. Come and see - our aim is to ensure that you have such a great time that you will come back.
