The property is an ongoing restoration from a simple traditional farmhouse with outbuildings to a yoga retreat centre, certain works are on going but we strive to make sure guests are not affected by this so they are free to enjoy a peaceful vacation. We have planted 70 indigenous and tropical fruit trees and 80 vegetables, the planting is all on organic principles with some of the tropical species planted in a 'Miyawaki' urban forrest. The property enjoys a private elevated position at the entrance to small peaceful village at the foothills of the mountain range with the 'Tour de Portugal' passing the property, some of the best cycle, motorcycle and hiking routes. There is a shared house kitchen that can be used by guests along with outside BBQ and Portuguese BBQ. Evenings are spent on the terrace enjoying 'alfresco dining' with live fire pit for chilly winter nights. Large dining and lounge area for communal use. The owners live on site in this family home with European, Chinese, Indian meals served if required, veg ad non veg. As mentioned earlier here is work going on at the property with minimal inconvenience to guests.
