This family home, nestled in the cool highlands of Réunion Island, has been completely restored and modernised to provide the highest level of comfort while preserving the character and charm of a traditional Creole house. Its high-end amenities, ideal location for hiking, peaceful surroundings, and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the Biberon Waterfall make it a truly magical place to relax and recharge. The house features an entrance hall, a spacious living and dining area, and a stylish bathroom with a walk-in shower. The toilet is separate. There are three bedrooms: two with queen-size beds and one with two single beds. The mattresses, duvets and bed linens have all been carefully selected to ensure a restful and comfortable stay. A large, welcoming veranda of more than 80 m² opens onto a lush, landscaped garden. An outdoor kitchen is currently being installed and will soon be available for guests to enjoy. At the rear of the property, a large garden provides plenty of space for children to play. Whenever possible, you will be welcomed by a member of our family, who will hand over the keys, show you around the house and remain available throughout your stay should you need any assistance or advice. On occasions when this is not possible, check-in is carried out remotely through a simple and secure self-check-in procedure. During the austral winter (June to September), temperatures can be surprisingly cool—sometimes even cold in the mornings and evenings—creating a unique mountain atmosphere in the heart of the tropics. Just a few minutes away, you’ll find some of the island’s finest hiking trails, including the Bélouve Forest and its breathtaking viewpoint over the Trou de Fer, Piton de l’Eau, Piton des Neiges, and the road leading to Piton de la Fournaise, one of the world’s most active volcanoes. Waterfalls, primary forests and spectacular scenery make this region a true paradise for nature lovers. The village centre, with its shops, market, bakeries and restaurants, is only a short distance from the house, allowing you to enjoy the tranquillity of the highlands while remaining close to everyday amenities.
