The Loft is the upper level of a two storey house located in the wall of the Cetate. It is in a pedestrianized area away from traffic. The ground level was building originally in 1780s. The upper floors were extended in the 19th century. Before the communist period the house was owned and lived in by the Leonhardt Family. After the fall of communism the building was left empty for a number of years. The current owner extensively renovated the building and grounds in 2006 preserving as much as possible the original materials and appearance.

There are now many marked ways around the town taking you thought the forest to fantastic viewing points around the area. Visit the surrounding Saxon villages such as Seas, Apold, Daia.
