The apartment is at the first floor of our residence, in a quiet and remote area, away from the main street, around 20 meters from the forest where you can spot wild rabbits, deer and foxes, as well as a large variety of birds. It is well-suited for a family of 4-5 members or for two couples who wish to have a relaxing holiday in the middle of nature. The yard is the only area shared with the owners. We live at the upper floor and will be present at the house most of the time, thus being able to help you with anything you may need and make sure you have a comfortable and pleasant stay. The easiest way to get here is by car (a crossover or a 4x4 are advisable), but you can also travel by train to Brasov and then by bus (approx. 40 min) to Bran. For longer stays (10 nights or more) we offer free transport from Brasov in our car. Car access is on an uphill rock-paved road for the last 500 meters and it may be closed during hard winters with heavy snow. If you arrive here by car, you can park it at the base of the road or in our aunt”s yard.
Within an hour of driving, you will find the following: Bran Castle, Medieval Custom”s Museum, Bran Ethnographic Museum, Rasnov Fortress, Valea Cetatii Cave, Dino Park Rasnov, The Bear Santuary in Zarnesti, Zarnesti Gorge, Brasov City and the Fortified Churches around it (Prejmer, Harman, Codlea, Ghimbav, Cristian) Also, our place is a great starting point for hikes in the nearby Bucegi and Piatra Craiului mountains.
