[IMPORTANT UPDATE] / due to road works of the street there is no possibility of parking in the courtyard of the house till mid July 2019. We apologize for the inconvenience. The closest free parking is 200m away, where you can easily find parking late afternoon (in front of Mokka Cafe Odorheiu Secuiesc) ENG] Our family run house from Odorheiu Secuiesc lies in the city center. It's on a little hill, in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful panoramic view from the balcony. It’s a 100 years old house that has been renovated in 2017. We arranged 4 spacious rooms with traditional furniture. All the rooms are on the 2nd floor. A spacious living room is on the 1st floor. City center is 3 minutes from the house. The building has a closed courtyard in front with 3 parking lots.
We speak 4 languages: Hungarian, Romanian, French and English. We are looking forward host you :)
Odorheiu Secuiesc and the area have some great touristic attractions, such as a bike path to Szejke Spa and the Mineral Water Trails Museum, the low-Alpine-type ski resort of Madaras Harghita Mountains (part of the eastern range of the Carpathians), in addition to several mineral water springs and pools (Homorod Spa, Lake of Zetelaka), with great fishing and hunting. The pottery village of Corund, a popular destination for those who love Hungarian pottery and traditional folk patterns, is only 25 kilometres (16 miles) away from the city. The salty Bear Lake in Sovata, a significant resort town that has been recently redeveloped, is also less than one hour's drive away (46 km). Other activities: eco-tourism, wildlife hiking and bear-watching, biking, rock climbing, horse riding and photo-tourism. The town is an ideal day-trip destination for tourists exploring the richness and diversity of Transylvania due to its closeness to the Medieval (formerly) Saxon towns of Sighișoara (50 km), Brașov (109 km), Sibiu (150 km) as well as the world-famous Bran Castle, yet it offers a different cultural experience thanks to its carefully preserved Hungarian culture.
