Over the years Casa Veche, built in the early 1900s, has been a coaching inn, a shop, a bar, a disco and an internet café. The café bar was completely refurbished and opened in 2024. The café bar’s individual mix of modern and vintage provides a unique style and experience. The advertising mirrors that adorn the walls of the bar date back to the 1960s and 1970s and previously hung on the walls of British pubs and bars. The large selection of whisky jugs behind the bar are of the same age and history. The 3 ensuite bedrooms have been completed, retaining a number of original features and are stylishly appointed. Fully carpeted, featuring solid wood furniture, pottery from Horezu with luxurious beds and bedding to guarantee a great night’s sleep. All the usual features found in high class accommodation can be found in the rooms including air conditioning, fully stocked mini bar, large screen TV along with quality coffee machine, complimentary tea & coffee.
