Hygge Hut, the 120 year old traditional house moved, piece by piece, from Volovat to its new home in Vama, is fully renovated and keeps its century old wood, original doors, windows and has a special appeal that will surely make you smile each morning as you enjoy a good coffee at the lip of the forest.

Remember those days when you would simply wake up with nothing to do but let go and breathe in, embrace life and just let the charm of country life win you over? It had been a very long time for us too, so we made sure that such memories stay closer with us. This house found us and we rediscovered ourselves by saving it. This is now a warm home, full of historical beauty, at the bottom of the forest and a perfect retreat where you can wake up to enjoy the village and nature rising to life each morning. Enjoying a cup of tea or coffee on the front porch is a must, but you should also explore the front terrace and stroll down the lane to drink a sip from the fresh water spring just at the bottom of the Miller’s hill. Vama, Județul Suceava, Romania This historical region in Romania, spread over 10,441 km², received a distinct identity from the rest of Moldova in 1775 when it was annexed to the Habsburg Empire. Its name comes from the Slavic word buk (beech). Thus, in translation, Bukovina means The Beech Land.
