The TIHNA guesthouse is your stop for well-being, joy and recreation, in a geographical space of unique beauty, complemented by the wealth of an invaluable cultural heritage. TIHNA was designed as a recreational stop for all those who want to enjoy these wonderful places in Tara Hategului, which we have replicated in all the areas of the guesthouse. Each room takes you to a different story, inspired by the natural setting of Tara Hategului and the rich history of these places. The guesthouse has 12 rooms and was completed in 2023. It is possible to rent the entire guesthouse in a self-catering regime. If you rent it this way, you will have access to a fully equipped kitchen and dining room and to the laundry. By request, it is possible to make a reservation for meal services (half board or full board). Please contact us for additional details. We accept all holiday cards (carduri de vacanta) to pay for the accommodation. Also, you can use the gift cards (tichete cadou) in our shop. We have contracts with all the 3 providers in Romania. Parking is on site and is free of charge. We offer free wi-fi and access to all relaxation areas and the conference room. Ten of our rooms have balcony or terrace with mountain view.

Why come to our area? Also called the "Heart of Romania", Tara Hategului means an adventure in a space where, over time, man and nature have built a unique diversity in Romania. You hike in Retezat National Park. You visit the Corvinilor Castle and other noble castles, but also the oldest stone (wall) churches in Romania. You venture to visit Zimbraria Slivut, where you can see the romanian bisons. Discover the Dinosaur Geopark, the first International Geopark in Romania and Eastern Europe, recognized as a UNESCO site. You visit the Colt castle and monastery, Jules Verne's source of inspiration for his novel, "Carpathian Castle". You stop at the Prislop monastery, to which Arsenie Boca's reputation is linked. Visit Ulpia Traiana Sarmizegetusa and the remains of Dacian fortresses in the Orastie Mountains.
