In a quiet and scenic location at 1,200 metres above sea level, Hotel-Restaurant Siesta Balea is located in Piscul Negru on the Transfagarasan National Road. It offers a traditional Romanian restaurant, a bar, and free WiFi. The en-suite rooms feature a TV and a minibar. Some have a balcony with mountain views. Siesta Hotel also features a terrace and barbecue facilities. Free private parking is available on site. Hotel Siesta is located 14 km from Bâlea Lake, and serves as a starting point for some of the most important mountain hiking routes in the area, including Negoiu Peak, Lespezi Peak, Călțun Lake, Capra Lake, etc.
