Our guesthouse use to be an old wooden barn, now divided in 2 independent areas/apartments with 2 entrances, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. This is the small apartment suited for 3 guests, couples with children(an extra bed for children is available) ... We love wood, old wood, old objects so we love giving life and purpose to it! If you feel the same, then for sure you will feel good and enjoy your stay with us :) we have a big green, garden, lots of trees and an majestic walnut that will make your summer days feel incredibly comfortable...a wooden pavilion, a fireplace...and of course nature in her splendor! :) The indoor of the guesthouse is truly cosy... , spacious bedroom, a generous kitchen with all you need, bathroom of course, comfortable living room...lots of light and love 😍 The internet is really good, high speed.This is one apartment from the 2 available in the guesthouse. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner are available on request and can be served at the location or as an gastronomic experience by a local family. In the village there are also 3 very nice restaurants. We organised, on request, special designed village- tours for a deeper connection with the Romanian village life. Bike-rent and bike-tours are available in the village and in the area.
I live in Breb, 100meters from the guesthouse... I moved here re with my daughter and our lovely animals. We love it here so of course we highly recommend to take a break and enjoy the simple life-country living- nature! Looking forward to meet you in our little slice of paradise!
Breb is an amazing village in the heart of the historic al region of Maramures! Spectacular views, hikes on Creasta Cocosului, Gutui Mountains, the country of wood and hay... Old Wooden Churches, many of wich a UNESCO Heritage, Wooden Monasteries, a testimony of the incredible Maramures Architecture, genuine people, life and landscape! You can reach us by car, plane: Baia-Mare Airport is 1h from us and Cluj-Napoca Airport is 3h distance. Ski-slopes are at 15km distance, at Cavnic.
