In the late 1950s, local craftsmen came together and built a barn on one of the most panoramic hills of the scenic village of Sirnea, at about 1,200m high. More than 60 years later, using its old stone and wooden core while adding modern eco-friendly materials, The Barn was revived and welcomes you to fully charge your batteries. During these years, the only things left untouched were the astonishing view of the imposing Bucegi Mountains, with peaks as high as 2,500m and the nearby limestone kingdom of Piatra Craiului, with its ridge sitting quietly at above 2,000m. The Barn has a sleeping area with a queen size bed, a living room with an extendable sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, QLED TV and wi-fi. This will be your home away from home. Part of The Barn complex, we also welcome our guests to Casa Mare, a beautifully handcrafted log house assembled by a team of brothers from Bucovina whose expert craftsmanship already goes several generations back. The material for the log house was individually selected by the craftsmen, the lighting fixtures were handmade by master potters from Marginea, worldwide renowned for their ancient black pottery technique, to blend in with other personalized elements of the designer made house. Casa Mare has 3 bedrooms each with individual bathrooms, a living room with an extendable sofa and an additional relaxation area, a fully equipped kitchen, QLED TVs in all rooms and wi-fi. This would be the ideal place to enjoy time with family and friends.
