Hello There! ​ Hello there, We are Maria and Gheorghe and we kindly welcome you as a guest to our sweet and dear good house, in the outskirts of Brasov, right in the middle of Harman, your typical Transylvanian saxon village. You will experience at first hand the much appreciated simple Romanian folk hospitality that comes hand in hand with peace and quiet, all in a fresh air surrounding and a little bit of coolness powered by our children Ioana and Sorin. They took care of the design, to enhance the "mood" as they say and we make sure the experience and the "palinca" stay 100% authentic. ​

Property info

The Good House has one apartment (bedroom+ living-room) and 3 large and airy rooms (each with separate sleeping area). Comfortable beds, big and fluffy pillows and attention to detail. Private bath with walk in shower or bath tub. And of course serene light and a lot of peace. You can also enjoy a separate breakfast room with a touch of wood and traditional materials and a home style living area with fireplace, Netflix and comfy couches. A back yard with traditional fire pit and two lovely dogs Bruno and Bella

Neighborhood info

Harman ( Mons Melis in latin / Honey Mountain ) was attested as settlement in 1204 , known for it's honey production and for it's fortified evangelical church. Nowadays there are two natural reserves close to it: Harman Swamps ( protected area along the Olt river meadow ) and Lempes Fortress Hill (natural botanical reserve). From enjoying history discovery to hiking in an outstanding scenery or just strolling on quiet countryside streets you are more than welcome to visit Harman and it's surroundings. And if you just need a place to sit and enjoy a good reading and a coffee we got you covered with the house, the yard, the soon to be orchard and our hospitality.
