The Moon is a boutique 15-room retreat in the heart of Vama Veche — a 1-minute walk from the beach and a short stroll from Yuva and the village's cafes, bars and restaurants. Every room has air conditioning, a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV, fast Wi-Fi and — rare for Vama — its own private balcony. Two rooms (A5 and A6) look out toward the sea. Free private parking is included for every guest, which is hard to come by this close to the centre. The Moon sits on Str. Albatros, the second street back from the seafront, right in the centre of Vama Veche — close enough to everything that you can park the car and explore the whole village on foot. The beach is about 100 metres away, a 1 minute walk. Vama Veche is Romania’s most free-spirited stretch of coast — bohemian, laid-back, and alive day and night. The best of it is right on your doorstep: club Yuva for the nightlife, Hai-Hui a few steps away for great food, plus beach bars, live music and coffee spots all within a short walk. And for the real Vama tradition, stay up and catch the sunrise over the sea — the beach is right there for it.
