Property info

Situated at the border between two districts, Maramures and Bistrita-Nasaud, Cabana Tulean was built by our family for our own personal use as well as for hosting guests from all over the world. It enjoys a unique location in the middle of the nature, away from the main road, but at the same time it is easily accessible by car. Guest are welcomed to discover the natural surroundings and the rural live that Maramures has to offer, including the UNESCO Wooden Churches of Maramures, the Merry Cemetery, the National Park Muntii Rodnei, Prislop and Borsa Complex ski slopes, Mocanita steam train, Moara lui Mecles etc . Should you choose to have meals included in your stay, we will prepare delicious traditional Romanian food with ingredients sourced from our own farm. Onsite we also have an outdoor wooden barrel heated tub that can be used all year round.
