Vila Patricia is a recently fully renovated 220 sqm property that benefits of a very generous 1500 sqm garden, situated just 500m from the city centre of Breaza, the well known balneoclimateric resort in the Valley of Prahova river. Being involved in travel and food business most of my professional life, I have decided to continue my vocation for tourism, now that I have been recently retired, to renovate our family vacation home and turn it into a warm, cosy but versatile holiday residence. The City of Breaza has become one of the most frequented touristic areas of Romania in the last 20 years due to its clean air, comparable to Davos, Switzerland and its excellent positioning in the foot hills of the Southern Carpathian Mountains, just 100 km from Bucharest the capital City of Romania and 70 km from Brasov, the famous Transylvanian Medieval City. Both cities benefit of an international Airport and also offer many cultural and architectural objectives, museums, art galleries and antiques markets and of course fine dining restaurants. Tha Prahova Valley is well known for skiing in Sinaia, Predeal or Azuga. All these mountain resorts are within 40 km drive from Vila Patricia. When you don't ski, hike or just relax in the property garden, you can visit in the Valley, Peles Castle the residence of the Romanian former Kings in Sinaia City just 25 km away from Breaza or Cantacuzino Castle, a smaller but beautiful architectural work from the early 1900's in Busteni City, famous for its landscape over the Bucegi mountains. And if you have enough time, just in the outskirts of Brasov, the Bran Castle also known as Dracula's Castle it's a must see!
