A short drive (~25 minutes / 8.5 km) takes you to the entrance of the Dâmbovicioara Gorge, near Podu Dâmboviței. Just beyond, you can visit Dâmbovicioara Cave (open 09:00–17:00; 15 lei/adult, 3 lei/child). For authentic local food, you’ll find nearby restaurants open until 20:00.
