Maison Soleil was created by an artist who understands emotional responses to interiors. It contains an eclectic mix of paintings, carefully curated antiques and textiles from around the world which give it a fascinating but homely feel. Nestled within lush tropical gardens, it is just a short walk from the stunning Anse Soleil Beach and the world-renowned Four Seasons Resort Seychelles, on the south coast of Mahé. We have one large luxury Suite on the first floor ( Vanilla) , ideal for honeymooners or families with children, and 3 standard suites ( Cinnamon) on the ground floor. 2 of the Cinnamon suites can have an interconnecting terrace, making it ideal for families with older children, or for 2 couples travelling together. Maison Soleil has welcomed travellers from over 50 countries, and is ideal for singles, couples, groups of friends, families of all ages and is LGBT friendly ! Come and enjoy! Andrew was a Fashion Designer in London and came to Seychelles in 1993 to teach Art. He now creates interior design for hotels, and event décor and has a Gallery exhibiting his watercolours and work from other artists, next to Maison Soleil . Andrew lives on site with his dog Tommy. Having lived here for over 30 years he can give local advice to enhance your visit. Andrew has a fantastic team of dedicated and helpful staff who's main aim is to make your stay a memorable and enjoyable one.
The South of Mahe is a magnet for Artists. There are many artist's studios and a local museum to visit in the area . We have great beaches, Anse Soleil, Petite Anse and Anse Government nearby, all 10 minutes walk downhill. Also we have Marias Rock Cafe and Hidden Cove Cafe on Anse Soleil nearby both serving great food. Club Liberte Casino is on our doorstep and offers good food at good prices and is open very late! There are shops and stalls selling fish, fruit and vegetables in the village. If you have a car you can easily visit the rest of Mahe, but many guests have a fantastic holiday without a car, walking and taking the local bus.
